Twenty-Seven years ago it was only a dream. A dream inspired by her Mothers love of flower arranging for the home and family events, Vesna Grasso aspired to be a successful and talented florist.
With a husband and a young child Vesna took on the opportunity to study Floristry at Padstow TAFE and gained experience working for a local Florist. As friends and family announced their engagements and weddings, they asked Vesna to provide floral bouquets for their weddings. Vesna accepted the challenge and juggled family, work and study. It soon became evident through the results of her work, that Vesna had a talent in floral design. Upon successful completion of her Floristry course, and with two young children, Vesna was asked to come back and teach. She did this for 4 years, which she enjoyed immensely.
Over 20 years ago from her humble home in Casula, in the outskirts of Sydney, this business was born. This includes many accomplishments along the way, including the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games bouquets, the ABC Garden Show, numerous Exhibitions, and the extensive amount of work done at Sydney’s most prestigous venues.
Vesna Grasso is now one of Australia’s leading, multi award winning floral designers, winner of the 2006, 2007, 2008 Australian Bridal Industry Awards. As well as winner of the 2009 Designer of Dreams Award in Floral Design, as voted by brides. This comes as a result of her many years of experience, knowledge, expertise in the wedding & floral industry. Vesna is known for setting a standard and trends with her unique, signature designs, some of which are exclusive to her clientele.
